The Position

Following the success of Silhouette Solutions YEG, we are expanding our services to include massage therapy. We are currently accepting applications for a Registered Massage Therapist to fill a casual contractor position, initially scheduled for one day per week or two half-days, with the potential for increased hours as demand grows.

Whether you are a brand-new practitioner looking to build your practice in an established boutique business or an experienced therapist looking to make a change, we would love to hear from you.

Job Duties

• Perform Massage Therapy: Provide various types of massage therapy that you are trained in. Customize massage treatments based on client requirements and preferences. Provide consultations prior to treatments.

• Maintain Professional Standards: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a meticulously clean and safe environment. Maintain professional standards of confidentiality and client care. Adhere to all health and wellness regulations and licensing requirements.

• Manage Client Records: Keep accurate and detailed client records, including health history, treatment plans, and progress notes. Update records after each session.

• Customer Service: Provide outstanding excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction. Address client inquiries and concerns professionally. Educate clients on self-care techniques and wellness practices.

• Administrative Tasks: We do have a self-serve online booking system, however you may be required to occasionally assist clients with re-booking appointments. Handle payments and process transactions.

• Promote massage services and wellness products offered by the establishment. This could mean offering re-booking services or recommending products.

• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the massage room and equipment are meticulously clean and well-maintained between client treatments. Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues. If using company linens, ensure they are laundered and stocked. Ensure the massage room is set up and sanitized between clients.

Requirements

We are looking for someone to be a great fit for our business to continue to maintain our professional, positive, and high-quality services.

• Valid massage therapy registered license, insurance, and certifications as required by Alberta regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We stand out from the rest with exceptional client service, and our clients feel they are treated as VIPs every time they visit our studio. The best candidates will also provide the same service.

• Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain client confidentiality.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed client records.

• Strong ability to be available and on time for scheduled massages to ensure a professional and exceptional client experience.

• Be committed to your hours of availability. With being part of a very small team, your dependability will be strongly relied on.

• Basic administrative skills, including scheduling and processing payments.

• Professional appearance and demeanor. There is no strict dress code, we ask that your appearance is clean, professional-casual, and free of strong odors.

Compensation

Commission Pay:

• 70% with greater than 1 Year of RMT Experience.

• 65% with less than 1 Year of RMT Experience.
